In the United Kingdom there are many woods in near derelict condition. With no management woods can easily become so overgrown that you struggle to walk through them. In some old woods trees can become unsafe where they have died or been partially blown over in storms. These sorts of woods are generally pretty dangerous and not an appealing place to be. Woodland development is taking that derelict woodland and creating a resource out of it. Developing the woodland over time to make it an appealing place to go.
Whether you have had your woodland for years and would now like to do something with it, or you have just purchased some woodland and would like to develop it so that it can be enjoyed. We can look at the woodland and decide on the best action possible for developing the woodland into a resource that you would appreciate. Grants are available for such work, especially if you are willing to allow public access for walking.
Developing your woodland could be as simple as removing some dangerous trees and creating some safe pathways through the woodland or you could decide you want the whole woodland developed to try and restore it to a nice looking natural woodland.
